Research In Motion

As Senior Director, BlackBerry Platform Product Management at Research In Motion, Paxton Cooper is responsible for setting product strategy for RIM’s application development tools, platform APIs and services, and App World with the objective of enabling easy and rapid development and distribution of both consumer and enterprise applications and content for BlackBerry Smartphones.

Prior to joining RIM in 2008, Paxton has held several senior roles most recently at Palm, MontaVista Software, and Sun Microsystems. At each of these companies he led OS platform, developer ecosystem, and general product planning efforts.

Paxton holds a Computer Systems Engineering Degree from Stanford Univ
