The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival presented by Shell is a celebration of the unique culture and heritage of Louisiana and has been called “America’s Best Festival” by many writers, organizations and fans alike.
Started in 1970, “Jazz Fest,” as the event is affectionately known, presents over 500 bands on 12 stages of virtually every style of music including rock, blues, zydeco, Cajun, traditional jazz, contemporary jazz, gospel music and so much more plus the incredible food, parades and one-of-a-kind crafts. Jazz Fest draws hundreds of thousands of fans from across the world for the two-week celebration that could only take place in New Orleans.
